I like the artwork on them. If I had school books to cover I’d surely use these. Here’s a close up of all the awesome Lego Harry Potter minifigures the sets come with.Check out all the currently available Lego Harry Potter Sets for purchase at the official Lego site.
This post features my latest Lego MOC. I decided to combine two of my passions for this creation. I am as you know fascinated by Lego and I am also totally intrigued by the idea of Vertical Farming. If you are not familiar yet about what this is I can fill you in. Basically Vertical Farming is a proposed agricultural technique involving large-scale agriculture in urban high-rises or “farmscrapers”. Using advanced greenhouse technology and greenhouse methods such as hydroponics, these buildings would produce fruit, vegetables, edible mushrooms and algae year-round.
It’s a very futuristic idea and that’s what is so exciting to me. I think that if people can make this affordable, profitable and easy to maintain then there will be hundreds and hundreds of tall vertical farm buildings all over the world soon. So to get people excited about this great concept I wanted to create a cute little Lego model of a fictional Vertical Farm.
Below are some more pictures of it. Please excuse the gap between each floor of the building. I left it loose so I could show you the insides of each floor.
Here below is a detailed shot of each of the floors of my Lego Vertical Farm.
6th Floor Arboretum
5th Floor fruit trees
4th Floor Berries and Veggies
3rd Floor Fruit and Veggies
2nd Floor Grains and Veggies
1st Floor Lobby and Administrative Office
There you have it my idea of a Lego Vertical Farm. Now my Lego minifigs will have fresh local produce!
