10/12/15 at Lawson Products I was chosen to be a part of a special team that uses Lean Six Sigma, a method of process improvement that relies on a collaborative team effort to improve performance by systematically removing waste and reducing variation. I was very honored to be selected to participate in the project to improve the Company’s customer prospecting process. I will take part in the Lean Six Sigma training sessions and contributed my skills and unique perspectives to the team’s activities. The training focuses on the DMAIC process: Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control. I look forward to seeing this project through while still keeping current with my other regular responsibilities.
